Pedal the Cause

Cancer is no longer something I hear about.

It’s something I’ve lived.

This is my 8th year riding in Pedal the Cause—and as team leader of Premier Warriors, what started as a cause has become a personal mission.

On December 24, 2025, I lost my dad to cancer. Christmas Eve will never feel the same. And since then, the hits haven’t stopped… friends, family, people I care about deeply. Just this week, we lost a high school friend, Lisa Weaver Beke.

In 2018 my thought changed from, “why is this happening?”
…to, “what am I going to do about it?”

For me, the answer is simple: I ride.

I lead.
I raise money.
And I refuse to sit on the sidelines while cancer keeps taking people I love.

That’s why I’m proud to be part of Pedal the Cause. It’s more than the region’s largest cancer fundraiser—it’s a movement fueled by people who are done waiting and ready to make a difference now.

As leader of Premier Warriors, I’m not just riding for myself—I’m riding for every family that’s been blindsided by this disease, and for every breakthrough that hasn’t happened yet… but will.
