Pedal the Cause

This year I am participating in my first Pedal the Cause, a ride that fuels groundbreaking cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

Every year, we are reminded how deeply cancer touches our lives — friends, family, and loved ones facing battles that no one should have to endure. This year, I am riding in honor of Jessica Elizabeth Prost, who tragically passed away in 2024 at age 29 after a courageous fight against a rare, aggressive cancer in her brain and spinal fluid. Jessica’s strength and spirit throughout her battle continue to inspire me, and I ride with her memory close to my heart.

Pedal the Cause is more than just a ride — it’s a movement to end cancer. And what makes it powerful is that 100% of every dollar donated goes directly to life-saving cancer research. These funds fuel the discoveries that bring hope, new treatments, and brighter futures for patients and their families.
