Pedal the Cause

On June 29, 2023, we lost my dad to cancer.  He'd been diagnosed the year before, had made it through treatment, and all signs pointed to more years.  He was feeling good and making plans for the future.  Then it came back.  Fiercely.  None of us thought he was going to win that second bout, but I don't think any of us were prepared for what losing would look like.  Sadly, my dad wasn't the first person I cared about whose life was cut short by cancer.  He's not the most recent either. So join me in saying, "FUCK CANCER!"
