Pedal the Cause

Pedal the Cause is so special to my family and me - this will be my sixth year riding! This fall I’ll be riding 52 miles in The Big Hitter ride. I am eternally grateful for my incredible team of doctors along with the new research and laws that led to my early breast cancer diagnosis in 2024 and early melanoma diagnoses in 2017 and 2018. My experience with Pedal the Cause has provided a space for me to gain great strength, grieve in healthy ways, and make a difference in the fight against cancer - this organization is truly a gift!  Check out STLMade's feature, Pedal Power, to hear/read personal Pedal the Cause stories from the PTC director, a medical researcher, and myself!

I will be riding again in honor of my doctors and so many loved ones who have battled and are currently battling cancer.  Every dollar we raise through this amazing event will fund lifesaving cancer research. 100% of your donation to Pedal the Cause will fund cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
