Pedal the Cause

My #1 reason for participating in Pedal the Cause 2025 is to celebrate Judy's ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY of the Car-T Cell Therapy which has obliterated her Diffuse Large B cell Lymphoma. We've had one year of clear PET scans with no apparent reason for concern about reoccurrence. The care she has received at Siteman has been beyond extraordinary, and we have so many wonderful doctors and nurses to thank, as well as the amazing researchers who developed Car-T Cell Therapy! It is being used to cure so many things - not just Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma. We have survived the threat of cancer in our family THREE TIMES - through cures for the lymphoma as well as both my own prostate cancer and melanoma. Additionally, Michael is passionately working every day to provide treatment/cures for cancer in both his research lab, as well as in the clinical arena at Siteman. We represent just one family amidst a movement, and are thrilled to join this celebration of the inroads being made, as well as supporting other early stage promising research.
