Pedal the Cause

Losing my mom, Kathi Kolosieke, to cervical cancer in 2011 was devastating. She was treated at Siteman Cancer Center, and her memory is a powerful motivator for all who knew her. As we approach the 14-year mark this September, her absence feels heavier than ever. My wife and I are expecting our first child, a little girl next February, and the thought that she will only know her Grandma Kathi through stories makes me even more determined to ride. I'm participating in Pedal the Cause to honor her memory, to give back to Siteman, and to help fund the research that brings hope to other families.
