Pedal the Cause

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause this year in the fight against cancer. Both my mother and my sister are survivors of breast cancer. I am vey thankful that the doctors and the treatments saved their lives.

This year I have a positive story to tell. Brian Weiss is a life long family friend that has grown up with my son Max. I was his little league baseball coach. Last year Brian was diagnosed with APL Leukemia. His Doctors at Siteman jumped all over him quickly. He spent a month in the hospital and with six months of chemotherapy, he was cancer free! His girlfriend Kelsey was with him all throughout his treatments and this past Labor Day, they got married! It’s all because of people like you donating money to help the research scientist and doctors find cures for this disease.
