Every penny of every dollar donated funds innovative cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital, driving new treatments, clinical trials and discoveries that are improving patient outcomes. I am riding in support of my dad LTC Thomas F. Binek (US Army Retired).  My dad has battled kidney cancer for approximately 10 years.  He was diagnosed with kidney cancer in July 2015.  He underwent treatments in 2015 and again in 2018.  In September 2021 he had his kidney removed.  As part of his treatment, he started Keytruda.  Unfortunately, the Keytruda attacked and killed his one good functioning kidney.  In November 2022 he started Hemodialysis and in March of 2023 he switched to Peritoneal Dialysis.  Like a true soldier he has battled on and at 84 looks and feels amazing.  Even with the restrictions and challenges of his dialysis he continues to live life to the fullest.  I am extremely proud of him and how he has dealt with this challenge.  Please consider supporting me and dad.  ALLONS (LETS GO) !!!
