Pedal the Cause

I lived most of my life with no personal experience with cancer.

Then in the late 90’s it really hit home. My mom was diagnosed and our world turned upside down. We were lucky she didn’t have to suffer long but seeing the deterioration of such a beautiful and vibrant person was an eye opener. Just like with many things, once we told people about moms health we were inundated with stories from so many people going through or having went through the horrors of cancer. 

My friend Gayle told me about PTC and it sounded like a great organization. She had participated for 10+ years and said it was always a good time filled with wonderful people.

I dusted off my bike and got back to riding. This will be my second year participating riding 21 miles.

I’m riding for my mom but so many others will be in my heart and mind. Thank you for your support and may God bless you.
