Pedal the Cause

I'm happy to share that not only is Companion on board as an event/team sponsor again for the 17th year, but I have personally registered for Pedal the Cause and have joined the fight against cancer. I will be riding for the “Companion/Kaldi’s powered by Big Shark” team in an effort to challenge myself and to raise awareness!
 
This year is incredibly special to me. In March of 2025, my ride-or-die, Melissa Allen, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately, a self-examination caught it early, and thanks to a rock-star team at BJC/Siteman, she is fully recovered from surgery and cancer free! It's just an amazing reminder of how special and important this event is to so many people. 

I am riding in celebration of her and to honor the millions of families who have been affected by cancer. Please consider helping me in this journey by donating to my ride. 100% of what I raise - literally every penny - will fund innovative pediatric and adult cancer research in St. Louis at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital.
