Pedal the Cause

Cancer is a disease that has profoundly impacted my life, touching beloved family members and cherished friends, and tragically taking some of the dearest people I know. My heartfelt hope is to see a future where no one else experiences such devastating loss or struggles against this illness.

This mission is deeply personal, stemming from my Girl Scout Gold Award project. For that, I collected donations and personally assembled activity care kits for children undergoing treatment in local hospitals. My goal was simple: to offer a much-needed distraction from the fear and discomfort of their treatments, bringing moments of joy and normalcy during a challenging time. It's a part of my journey that's very close to my heart, though not often shared publicly.

Now, I'm channeling that same dedication into supporting Pedal the Cause, an organization that truly embodies hope and community in our region’s most impactful movement to end cancer. I am especially inspired to join those within my industry who have come together to support this vital cause - and play a small part in funding groundbreaking research at top-ranked institutions, including Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital.

What truly inspires me about Pedal the Cause is their unwavering commitment: every single penny of every dollar donated directly funds innovative cancer research. This drives new treatments, clinical trials, and discoveries that are already improving patient outcomes and changing lives.
