Pedal the Cause

First, I want to THANK YOU for all your support for Pedal the Cause. This is our sixth year taking part in the Pedal The Cause event.

I want to remind you why I ride. I ride for my family and your family. This is our brothers, our sisters, our kids, our grandchildren and our extended family. I know many of us, if not all, our families have been impacted by cancer. Over the years I have shared personal stories about my dad, brother, grandma, aunts, uncles and friends. This year my sister-in-law has been diagnosed with cancer.

It is important to generate funding for groundbreaking research. I know each of you want to be part of eliminating cancer, but we need all of us to help! Our goal this year is to raise $5,000.  I know we can do this together!  Please pass this information to your friends and family, so we can expand to our circle of influence and achieve this goal.

Remember, 100% of what we raise, every penny will fund innovative pediatric and adult cancer research in St. Louis at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St.Louis Children's Hospital. In addition, we will receive 13:1 (ROI) match is obtained (on average) in outside funding, resulting in over $595 million in leveraged funds.
