Pedal the Cause

I started riding in Pedal the Cause in 2013 with Powered By Hope after becoming friends with Teri in the early days of her cancer journey. I think the best word to describe Pedal the Cause is Love. Everyone comes together to celebrate and contribute our time and gifts to encourage one another as we pedal for people we love. Our team is full of cancer fighters, survivors and the folks who love them and support them. We have so much fun together. Mostly we're just trying to keep up with Teri, Renee and the other bike riding machines who lead our team! 

Pedal the cause is our region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer. It's also a chance to help. 

Please support our efforts by donating to my fundraiser. 100% of your donation will fund lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital. Teri said to me a long time ago "I won't just make a difference, I'll be the difference". I can tell you after being her friend for many years and watching her tirelessly inspire others she has done exactly that for me, and for many others.
