Pedal the Cause

Everyone knows someone who has been affected by cancer. From family members to close friends, I’ve seen firsthand how devastating and unfair this disease can be. I pedal with a purpose.

For my sorority sister Lilly, a lymphoma survivor whose strength and positivity continue to inspire me. To encourage my best friend’s dad, whose resilience shines through his ongoing treatment for prostate cancer and through his family’s unwavering support. And in memory of my great Aunt Fran, who lost her battle to breast cancer when I was in high school.

I’m participating in Pedal the Cause because I want better for the next person who hears the words “you have cancer.”

Pedal the Cause is more than a bike ride, it’s a powerful movement funding groundbreaking cancer research right here in St. Louis. Every penny of every dollar raised supports innovative work at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, driving progress toward new treatments, clinical trials, and ultimately, a cure!
