Pedal the Cause

I’ve been riding with Pedal the Cause for 15 years and am honored to serve on its Board of Directors. Every year, as I learn more about the research projects funded through this cycling challenge, I’m inspired all over again by the real impact we’re making in the fight to end cancer.

On September 22, I’ll be riding and have committed to the Yellow Jersey fundraising level—and I need your help to get there. What’s especially meaningful is that 100% yes, 100% of every donation stays right here in St. Louis, directly supporting cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids.

Cancer has deeply touched my life. I lost my mom far too early in both of our lives and my dad three years ago. They both fought bravely, but cancer ultimately won. My mother-in-law Barb and sister-in-law Karen, however, put cancer in its place. They are all my heroes and they’re why I ride, along with everyone else who is fighting this disease.

My ask is simple: please consider donating to support my ride. I’ll be riding with a big smile, knowing that together we’re helping fund critical cancer research and moving closer to a world without cancer.
