Pedal the Cause

I am Pedaling for the Cause in honor of my mom, Julia, who passed away in December 2024 at just 70 years old, after a long battle with Adenoid Cystic Carcinoma. Her particular cancer wasn't suitable for chemo or radiation treatments, so after the medication she was on for nearly 3 years stopped working, we started looking into other options.

She had recently moved in with me and my family in Virginia, to be close to me and my brother and her grandchildren. We spent her last few months researching her options nearby and making the 6-hour roundtrip drive to northern Virginia more than once to start the process of getting her into a drug trial. She unfortunately passed before she was able to get into a suitable trial.

I am grateful for the opportunity to ride in my mom's honor and to help raise money for such important research. I hope you will support my efforts by taking the time to donate to help me achieve my goal of raising $750.
