Pedal the Cause

Back in 2011 I first rode in support of my son, Scott, who was being treated for brain cancer at Siteman Cancer Center, because he asked me to ride with him.  The following years my reasons for riding just kept growing.  Other family members experienced cancer and so did family members of friends as well as our friends.  But I quickly realized there were so many people diagnosed with cancer, just stop and think of the number of your family and friends that have been diagnosed with cancer. They all need our help in finding better treatments and an end to cancer.   Early last year I became a cancer statistic.  It seems I may be lucky with an early catch and all the advanced treatments like those supported by you through Pedal the Cause.

I will ride again this year as every dollar contributed to Pedal the Cause will create research projects at either St. Louis Children’s Hospital or Siteman Cancer Center.  Hopefully, the funds raised will be the dollars that will create a world without cancer.

 If you have the ability to donate any amount to our team effort, or any team's effort, please do so.  Every dollar donated to a rider or team will go to fund research at Children’s Hospital St. Louis or Siteman Cancer Center.
