Pedal the Cause

I ride in memory of my sister, Lisa, who died from breast cancer 23 years ago. I miss her wit and wisdom every day. I ride in memory of my friends Gina Rotman and Debbie Yasuda. I ride in memory of my beloved Aunt Eva and in memory of Paul Keller and Greg Pohlman, for whom our team is named. 

I also ride in memory of these friends, and for your friends and relatives - Zachary Bassin, Karen McClane, Ellen O'Meara, Israel Gliner, Faustina Otto, Harriet Weissberger, Victor Cohen, Lori Cohen, Dennis Taylor, Bernie Wiener, Bobbi Edell, Andi Thea, Bea and Harry Goldsmith, James M Moose, Joyce Ferguson, David Grebler, Diane Wingate, Marilyn Malkin, Ceil Mesnik, Bonnie Booman, Debbie Yasuda, Alison Dwyer, Jean and Harry Mandel Jr, Harry Mandel Sr, Karen Koch Mazzei, Harold Schuermann, Richard Reed, Cory Howard, Barbara Howard and Brian Chadroff. I hold them all in my heart. 

I ride in honor of my friends who are living full lives after a cancer diagnosis and who have taught me so much about strength, tenderness and humor - Phyllis Bassin, Marcy Walliser, Linda Englander, Nancy West, Brad Sanders and Kim Howard.

I ride with the belief that the research funded by Pedal The Cause will lead to treatments and cures that will prevent others from losing a sister, a mother, a husband, a friend.......
