Pedal the Cause

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.

Many of you know of my cancer journey, but for those that do not, I am a survivor.  At age 26, I was diagnosed and treated for Cervical Cancer.  I was married for less than a year and was faced with having a hysterectomy.  I was lucky enough to end my treatment after the surgery, so many others have months, if not years of treatment ahead of them.  I consider myself lucky.  I had my life ahead of me.  22 years of being cancer free and I want to celebrate that milestone and help raise money to help end the pain and grief associated with the big "C".  Please help me and those who have fought and are fighting, help find a cure for this terrible disease.
