Pedal the Cause

Family, Friends, and Colleagues, 

It’s that time of year to jump back on the bike in the fight against cancer.  This will be my sixty year riding with the amazing WWT Pedal The Cause team, and I am excited to see what we can do to help fuel the fight against cancer in our fundraising efforts.  Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser.  It's a way of life, a celebration, a family, and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.

Why I ride

• I ride for my friend Mark Fredrickson, who passed away in Jan 20222 after a five-year battle with brain cancer.  
• I ride for my friend Trisha Britt whose beat cancer twice and is a great inspiration for living your life.
• I ride for my friend Sean Scott beat cancer in April 2019 and whose humor and approach to his fight are second to none.  
• I ride for my sister Jamie Grieshaber who beat her battle with breast cancer this past year and is on the road to recovery.  
• I ride for my friend Liz Berwin who passed away in June 2024
