Pedal the Cause

Dear Friends and Family,

This year, I am dedicating my Pedal the Cause fundraising ride to honor Dave Lauer, beloved husband of my friend and executive coach, Cheryl Lauer.

Dave was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in December 2023 and fought valiantly for 18 months. Through his courage and determination, he lived his life as fully and as normally as possible — and by all means, he accomplished that goal.

His strength and spirit remind me why Pedal the Cause matters so deeply. While there have been many advances in cancer treatments (mine included), we are still far from finding a cure. Together, we can continue the fight for people like Dave and countless others.

100% of your donation will directly fund lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
