Ten years. More than $24,000. One shared goal: a world without cancer.

Why do I ride? Because I can - and because I was given a second chance.

This year marks my 10th Pedal the Cause. With the incredible support of my amazing community, I’ve raised more than $24,000 for cancer research. You continue to show up for me - and for this cause - year after year. My goal this year is to raise another $1,800.

I’ve never had cancer, but I survived a life-threatening brain tumor and multiple surgeries. I know how frightening a serious diagnosis can be. I also spent 15 years working in the nonprofit cancer world, and cancer continues to touch the people I love: my daughter is a childhood cancer survivor; I lost my mom to cancer; and both of my in-laws and several dear friends have faced—or are currently facing—this disease.

One hundred percent of every donation funds lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. I hope you’ll consider supporting me with a donation of any amount.
