Pedal the Cause

This year I'll be taking a victory lap for Team Greyson...

Greyson Schnoebelen, my brave grandson, was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia B-Cell in April 2020. Grey was just shy of his second birthday at the time. Over the next three and a half years, mostly during the pandemic, he endured over 1,300 doses of chemotherapy, facing numerous side effects with incredible resilience. His strength inspired everyone around him, most importantly his loving parents Amanda and James. In August 2023, Greyson triumphantly "rang the bell" at Children's Medical Center Dallas, marking the end of his treatment. Today, now a spirited 7-year old, he has remained solidly in remission for over two years and was officially welcomed into the survivorship program in August 2025.

Greyson's journey is a testament to the power of cancer research and the hope it brings. His story is living proof that cures for cancer are possible, fueled by science and unwavering determination. Bike rides are fun but cancer research saves lives!
