Pedal the Cause

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and  a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.  Jumping into the action  again for two reasons:  Frist, we got rained out last year.  So disappointing because the the UBD cycling family (who has again graciously allowed this turtle rider to join them) was raising in memory of Troy Guzman (#GUZ STRONG).  Troy was an inspiration to all who knew him; a founding member of the UBD Cycle team and a beloved member of the Architecture, Interiors and Design community in St. Louis.  The other reason is that Troy was family for my sister, she loved him dearly and she loved her and I couldn't help but adore him for what a good friend he was for Amy.  That was my initial reason for joining the cause, but the second reason is that someone very near and dear to my heart has been diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.  They ask for privacy while they are undergoing treatment and  fighting the good fight and are fortunately are in remission, I'm riding in honor of them again this year.
