Pedal the Cause

We are Team McDonnellGenomeInstitute and are in our 2nd year participating in Pedal the Cause as a new team.  Team #McDonnellGenomeInstitute raised ~$7500 last year, and we hope to at least double that this year! We would greatly appreciate everyone's support, whether it be being part of the team, fundraising, volunteering for the event, moral support before and during the event, and of course donations. 100% of your donation will fund lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital, all in St. Louis. There is ~14 times the return on PTC funds in the form of federal research dollars, so these seed projects are incredibly important to keep the research efforts moving, and they make a big impact! Every dollar counts! 
We need new team members! You don't have to live in the St. Louis area, and you don't have to ride a bike, although we do have a great time riding, but from my perspective, our team and this effort in general are amazing! The ride weekend is September 19th/20th this year, and I would love to see as many people come out as possible. The inspirational program the evening of the 19th will blow your socks off! It's so inspiring and you'll see what a difference this effort makes in people's lives that are impacted by cancer, which is likely all of us! Thank you!!!!
