Pedal the Cause

This, my 16th  year riding and raising money for cancer research is for my great friend, Teresa. She called me in September and I could tell right away something was wrong. Every thought imaginable went through my head in that split second. When she said, "I've been diagnosed with cancer," my world stopped - I couldn't believe it. That was probably the one thought that didn't cross my mind.  Two weeks later she had a MAJOR surgery, where they removed a lot of her BUT they couldn't take her love of family and friends, wicked sense of humor, or her strength to live! She did chemo treatments and immunotherapy all in the past 8 months. She is now healthy and thriving.

With the current cuts in medical research, now more than ever is the time to donate. Pedal the Cause IS changing the course for so many people diagnosed and living with cancer.
