I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the St. Louis region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
Each day a cancer diagnosis impacts a family member, a dear friend, a colleague or a valued community member. With each impact we ask those fighting “ What can I do to help?”
Sometimes there are tangible actions we can take: we can give rides or provide company during treatments; we can send meals to nourish in difficult times; we can provide care-giver relief.
But often there is nothing tangible. Often it is only prayers and encouraging words we can give. Often there isn’t any way to lessen the impact on those we love and care about. We ask ourselves “WHAT CAN I DO?”
