Pedal the Cause

I am incredibly proud to once again support Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer.

For the past four years, I have walked alongside my wife as her partner on her cancer journey, and throughout that time I have been continually impressed by the incredible team at Siteman Cancer Center. This past November, she reached an amazing milestone—completing treatment and ringing the bell to mark the end of that chapter in her fight.

While we are grateful as she continues in remission, the battle against cancer is far from over. I am constantly reminded of this as I learn of others—friends, colleagues, and families—who are newly diagnosed. Each story reinforces just how critical the work of Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids truly is.

I recently learned that one of my coworkers, a young mother with a 1 year old child, was diagnosed with breast cancer.  She now faces a long and difficult road ahead and after the initial shock and sadness, it strengthened my resolve to fundraise and equip the researchers with the resources they need to develop new, life‑saving treatments.
