Pedal the Cause

I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer. It's a way to make a difference not just in our community, but to have a worldwide impact.

My mother was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in 1998 and went through chemo to treat it. That cancer returned in 2008, and she went through radiation and chemo. It returned again in 2012, then in 2015 and again and again, until it took her in 2019. We were given 20 bonus years, and she fought like hell for it.

I want a world where no one has to suffer like that and no one has to see a loved one suffer like that. 

Please support my efforts by donating to my fundraiser, and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will fund lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital. for every $1 Pedal donates to cancer research, an additional $14 on average is obtained through federal funding. I missed the first year of Pedal, but in every year since I've tried to make a difference in this fight. In that time, 243 Cancer Research Projects have been funded including 57 pediatric research projects.
