I am proud to join Pedal the Cause in the fight against cancer. Pedal the Cause is more than the region's largest cancer fundraiser. It's a way of life, a celebration, a family and a movement fueled by the courage to end cancer.
This will be the 6th year that I have participated in the Pedal the Cause Ride. In 2019 I rode in Support of a special person that had been fighting cancer and asked me to ride with her, “if I can ride and have cancer you can as well”. That was 2019! Judy lost her fight in July of 2022. Since then I have continued to ride in her memory. The sad part of this is each year I ride in support and memory of many others in my life that are in the fight of their life battling cancer or have lost the fight.
This year I am riding in memory of Judy, Bob and Bunk for the fight and strength they had and for the lessons they taught us on how to fight. I am also riding in honor of Karah, Mike, Josh, Jerry and many other friends for their strength and continual fight!
Cancer has impacted so many friends and loved ones that I care about, each year this list grows. Many have lost the fight, and they are missed everyday but, each one that has been in this fight have shown me and those around them what real strength is!
I ride for them! This is my passion...
Please support my efforts by donating to my fundraiser and give with confidence knowing that 100% of your donation will fund lifesaving cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and Siteman Kids at St. Louis Children's Hospital. On average there is a 14:1 ROI on cancer research. For every $1 Pedal the Cause donates an additional $14 (average) in outside funding, resulting in over a half of BILLION in leveraged funds!
In 2025 I was able to raise over $8500 to help fund cancer research! Please help me meet my goal of raising over $10,000 this year.
